New Student Access to Technology Services
Provisioning of Technology Services for New Students.
Accounts for the services listed below are created for all students.
- UMDNJ e-mail
- On-line courseware (WebCT & ANGEL)
- Computers in the UMDNJ public computer lab on the physical campus where you are enrolled
- Wireless Access (requires additional registration. See: http://istreg.umdnj.edu)
Students will be informed of how to establish their computing credentials by postal mail.
If you did not receive the letter from your school that includes information on how to establish your computing credentials call the number listed below.

Students Informed by Postal Mail.
Go to the website indicated in the postal mail.
Follow the on-screen instructions through the process of establishing your credentials:
Authenticate your identity
Create your password – follow the hints for password requirements
Provide answers to the security questions
Synchronize your password
Upon successfully completing the process, you will be able to access the UMDNJ portal, your UMDNJ email, online courseware, computer labs and the wireless network using the same single password that you chose for yourself.
- Log in to the UMDNJ portal at my.umdnj.edu. On the Welcome Tab in the Student ToolBox, click on “Accessing Technology Services” to learn more about these resources.
