RBHS Faculty Town Hall Meetings—April 8 and April 13
April 2, 2015
Dear RBHS Faculty:
Annual faculty evaluations are essential to the functioning and success of any university, and critical for faculty development. The existing evaluation process has been recognized by and agreed upon by the AAUP and the administration for many years. The aims of the evaluation include: motivating faculty to reach higher levels of achievement, improving performance, communicating expectations, agreeing upon weightings of areas of responsibility, goals and objectives for the next evaluation period, and setting the framework for each faculty member's path to success.
In upcoming town hall meetings on the New Brunswick and Newark campuses, the provosts will discuss the implementation of the existing guidelines for faculty evaluation. They will review the processes and present the criteria for a successful evaluation in every focus of endeavor for every faculty member in RBHS.
