Bridget Stewart Appointed Interim Chief Operating Officer of the Rutgers Health Group
January 5, 2017
Members of the RBHS Community:
I am pleased to announce that Bridget Stewart will be joining Rutgers Health Group (RHG) as Interim Chief Operating Officer. Bridget has more than 20 years of academic medical center and community hospital experience, serving in senior leadership roles in hospitals, outpatient practices and service line administration. She most recently served as Vice President of Physician Services for Elliot Health System in New Hampshire. Bridget has held leadership positions with Joslin Diabetes Clinic, Boston Children's Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. She serves as an adjunct instructor in the Masters of Healthcare Administration program at Regis College in Weston, MA.
Reporting to me, Bridget will work collaboratively with Rutgers, RBHS and our school/unit leadership in directing the operational components of RHG's implementation efforts. One of her first priorities upon arrival will be reaching out to and meeting with many of you. This will be most helpful to Bridget and insure a smooth transition into her new role.
