Office of the Provosts
The primary role of the Provosts in Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences is to support the academic missions of the faculty. To achieve these goals, our aims are to create and communicate clear criteria for advancement and processes. The Provosts also endeavor to create opportunities for career advancement, leadership training, mentoring, inclusion of underrepresented minorities and a general atmosphere of camaraderie, intellectual curiosity, efficiency, and professionalism.
Towards this end, we created this web page to serve as a toolbox for faculty matters. It includes links to the relevant documents, communications and forms covering general faculty functions, including appointments, reappointments, promotions, awards of Tenure and evaluations as well as relevant communications regarding searches, evaluations and other faculty matters. This site will continue to be updated as new information or communications are released. We also included a comments section where faculty may leave messages to the Provosts regarding relevant issues. Feel free to communicate with us and share your thoughts and suggestions. We are eager to hear from you.
